Its interesting that this court case has even made the news really. To be disciplined for having an opinion, a perfectly defensible professional opinion that just so happens to be opposed to the machinery of death.
Unfortunately I don’t think Margaret Forrester has a hope of winning her case, despite being absolutely right and doing the best for her patients. The abortion industry completely relies upon nobody questioning the status quo, even in the mental health sector of the NHS where surely subjective experience should win out over dogma.
I just hope this case is being fought in order to bring the issue to the foreground, I’m not an employment lawyer but I think there is plenty of grim wiggle room for the NHS to keep the sinister show on the road.
