Aaaah religion! (Finally)

Yes indeed! It is why I became Catholic. Well the Mass first and foremost but everything else along with it. Christians need and deserve every aid to faith imaginable to keep walking the narrow road to salvation. The Liberal dream of getting rid of the small devotions is inherently elitist, based upon intellectualisation of the faith that borders on the gnostic. We need to be Catholic down to our very hearts and bones so that when our minds fail us or tragedies beset us, as they both inevitably do, our faith doesn’t melt away like any other philosophy of the age.
